 | About MeHey my name is Kyle Boisvert I was born and raised in Slocan B.C All my family and the people I grew up with were a big part of my life in little Slocan. I was a competitive dirt biker since I was about 11, it was a major learning experience and has effected me greatly in life. These few things are the biggest parts of my life and what has made me who I am today Slocan is where I grew up, spending lots of time with my grandma and grandpa and my cousins Jordan Boisvert and Chelsie Van Bynen. We did everything from hunting to quading to fishing and anything we could find to do out doors. I spent lots of time helping my grandpa with everything I could, including working on the vehicles and mowing the lawn. Matt and Mark Mills lived just down the road from me so we were good child hood friends. They used to come and we would always just ride bikes and did lots of fishing. I got my first dirk bike when I was about five. I used it to get from my house to my grandparents house every day after school. Eventually my dad made me a dirt bike track up on our farm in slocan, he then put me in competitive dirt bike racing. My very first race was in spokane Washington, I loved it! i loved racing and everything that was with it. After that i eventually went in to supercross and placed 2nd and 1st place. I have placs and trophies from a lot of races. We had sponcers from red bull and rockstar. I got tons of emails to be personally sponcered by different companies. I raced bike for about 5 years until I was 16. I lived in slocan till I was about 15, i spent every day sun up to sun down with my dad and grandpa and grandma. My Dad was more of a best friend growing up than a dad. I have the most amazing memories and fun times with my dad, in some pictures we are even dressed the same. He used to do things with my like tow me behind the lawn mower on a gt while he would mow the lawn. My mom then got a job in town and we moved in to South Slocan Bonnington. |
